Cosmetic Laser Procedures We are excited to have purchased new (2011) state of the art Medical Grade Laser equipment. Our Laser equipment is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Clinical treatments are performed by our Nurses under the direction of a fellowship trained Plastic Surgeon. Results, safety and comfort are our top priorities. Dr. Kurz offers state of the art laser equipment not available anywhere else in Northern BC. Our equipment combines two clinically proven wavelengths - 755 nm alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG. Cutting edge multiplex sequencing technology allows blending of laser wavelengths to provide optimal clinical results tailored specifically to individual skin types. Our laser equipment also includes integrated Zimmer SmartCool (R) proven air cooling technology providing skin protection and comfort before, during and after each laser pulse. Most patients will not require a topical aneasthetic with this technology. Continuing with our tradition of providing the most effective clinically proven technologies availble, Dr. Kurz has just purchased a new Fraxel Re:Pair laser system available for fall 2011. This system is used for skin resurfacing on and off the face and can produce dramatic clinical results including skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, pigment and texture correction.
